Chanca (pronounced chancer) was born and raised in Bournemouth. As an early teen he started to dabble in drugs, by the time he was seventeen he was addicted to class A drugs. This lifestyle led to being involved with crime, homelessness and going in and out of rehabs. Within a few years this led to losing everything; possessions, relationships with family and friends, and hope.

“People always say that if you do drugs it will spiral out of control, and it really does.”

There were occasions where Chanca overdosed and had to be brought back to life, his heart had stopped beating for several minutes each time. He had tried everything to get off drugs but nothing worked. He felt he was faced with two options, to get clean or suicide. In desperation he cried out to the Lord - “God if your real you gotta help me...” In 2003 he gave his life to Christ, and was healed from heroin addiction.

Since then he has written an album 'Dark In 2 Light' which was released in 2005. He also started up a production company in January 2011– Seconds Out Productions, with a vision to write beats and music for artists of all genres.



Lucinda was born in Bath and raised in Bournemouth to a Christian home. In her teens she began to slip away from the church and became involved with heavy metal, self harm and drugs. Her passion was in music and developed a fascination with the Goth scene and the occult, which led to a dependancy on narcotics.

Lucinda developed an eating disorder in her early 20s, “If I couldn't control how I felt I could control what I ate.” After years of depending on drugs and alcohol in desperation she gave her life back to God in 2008. “It says in the Bible that even the rocks cry out, I could feel every part of my body aching for God. He was the only way and the only one who could help me.”

Lucinda started singing for the worship team at church and began to lead worship. It was clear that worship and music was her calling, and she began to write songs to God. Lucinda started working with Chanca in March 2011, singing chorus' on a few tracks, by April Elite was formed. They both share the same vision, to write and perform songs, based on their own experiences on how Christ has saved their lives from a road to destruction.





Seconds Out Productions create Urban & Dance music. They are currently working with Elite and 11^thHour and are making custom beats for rappers and vocalists. Elite started working under Seconds Out back in April 2011. Elite are currently recording vocals at JV Studios in Bournemouth.
